As our built environment undergoes a massive sustainability overhaul, industry groups seek to identify innovative technologies that help make buildings more resilient and future-proof. And yet another organization has now heralded Hydromx for its energy-saving potential. Hydromx has been named, along with nine other companies, as a finalist in the “Energy Efficiency” category for the 2022 Urban Tech Forward Conference. Each of the finalists will have the opportunity to present their technology at the gathering taking place September 27-28 in Warsaw, Poland. The event seeks to identify the most groundbreaking startup companies in the building industry laying the foundation for more sustainable urban design. A panel of industry experts selected the finalists in each of seven categories. “We are thrilled that Hydromx continues to be recognized for its potential to vastly reduce the energy-intensive operations of buildings worldwide,” says Hydromx Chairman and CEO Berkin Arikan. “We are in tremendous company with our fellow finalists, and we are excited to share the story of our revolutionary nanofluid with the attendees at Urban Tech Forward.” Urban Tech Forward promotes urban sustainability through powerful tech solutions. The forum brings together innovative companies, venture capitalists, developers, lawmakers, and more, to challenge the conventional notions of the spaces where people live and work. Their goal is to fundamentally shift how we build and ultimately make a lasting impact on global infrastructure. This is only the latest industry recognition for Hydromx this year. It has also been named a finalist for an ICIS Innovation Award and recognized by the UK Green Building Council and the NYC Accelerator Program as suitable in their sustainability efforts and standards.
